EAR Studio is an analog/digital recording facility located on East 11th street about a mile from downtown Austin, TX. The studio area features a large cutting room boasting an 18 ft cathedral ceiling and a roomy isolation booth. Hovering above, the spacious and naturally lit control room lends a bird’s eye view to the happenings below. At the helm is an SSL 6040 E/G+ console driving 2 inch 24 or 16 track tape along with 32 In/48 Out of SSL conversion into Pro Tools 12 HD Native or Logic Pro. A beautiful EMT 140st plate reverb provides the afterglow. Many great restaurants and bars dot the surrounding neighborhood. We think it’s a very inspiring and fun place to make music.
